How About A Contract with IB  ?  

Publish Notice of All Public Meetings in newspaper 1 week prior to actual meeting instead of days after meeting took place. 

Broadcast / cable cast, video stream or digital stream all council meetings and other public workshops and meetings.

Provide SaveIB.com digital video feed from Council Chamber Camera as Public Service for free distribution on the internet.

Dis-associate from Monthly Mayors and City Manager's meetings with Supervisor Greg Cox

Establish 4 distinct voting districts or precincts….one councilperson from each….

mayor from any of 4 precincts.

The people of Imperial Beach do not yield their sovereignty to the agencies which serve them.  The people, in delegating authority, do not give their public servants the right to decide what is good for the people to know and what is not good for them to know.  The people insist on remaining informed so that they may retain control over the instruments they have created.  (Or in this case; regain control over Renegade Municipal and Regional Governments)

Something else to consider....the City pays a lot of money for law enforcement and gets minimal return SO...at the very least see what SDPD and CVPD have to offer....God knows they need the money....Coronado PD wont have us lol...and maybe SDPD will let us have Sand Castle parade and fireworks ?
