I was out at Pier Plaza last year at Steve Futterman's Film Festival and found myself talking with both Steve Futterman and Councilman Jim King.
I said, "Nobody will believe this!" and tried to take a couple of photos at arms length. This is the photo I found later on my camera!
Whether or not I agree or disagree with Jim King, he is a gentleman who has not lost his sense of humor and I appreciate that.

With the City and RDA running dangerously low on funds, Staff came up with the idea of raising sewer fees since they can't legally increase taxes without putting it on the ballot. Keeping it secret helps keep the residents quiet and in the dark. Imperial Beach's resident expert on sewers has a lot to say about this.
